Additionally, U.S. cities consume a significant share of the country's energy, contributing to their carbon footprint. Urban areas also face increasing risks from climate change, including more frequent and severe heatwaves, hurricanes, and flooding, highlighting the urgent need for innovative and sustainable urban solutions.
